The objectives of the study are to identify the social and economic developments in the Asir region during the study period(1402-1426 AH/ 1982- 2005 ) and to know the developments that took place in the buildings and the urban buildings and the developments that took place in the social facilities in Asir region, The researcher used the scientific historical method based on the analysis and criticism of the scientific material and descriptive analytical method and the collection of scientific material related to the subject of the study and analysis, and some interviews and observation participation by the researcher and the study included five chapters . Chapter I: The Methodological Framework for the Study Chapter Two: The Impact of Social Developments on the Prosperity of the Asir Region During the Period (1402-1426 H / 1982-2005). Chapter Three: The Impact of Economic Developments on the Prosperity of the Asir Region During the Period of Study and reviewed in Chapter Four: Urban Facilities and their Development in the Asir Region during the Study Period. Chapter Five: Development and Diversity of a number of Social Establishments in Asir Region. The study included a conclusion of the conclusions, recommendations and proposals and a list of annexes and references. The most important results are : --The development of education in Asir region in the period of study, both general and higher education for males and females and the construction of many schools, colleges, institutes and universities
- Development of health in the region during the period of study and the construction and opening of many hospitals and health centers and provide the level of health services in Asir region
- Establishment of a number of parks by the Ministry of Agriculture to preserve the natural environment in the region
Construction of a number of population growth centers in Asir region-
- Establishing, developing and supporting many social projects in a number of Asir cities by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Assir Regio
- The development of government buildings and private housing and the emergence of some large urban landmarks such as airports, hospitals and government departments and markets and trade and industrial exhibitions and others
- Development and diversity of the community (professional) in the study period from the previous study area
- A change in clothing, fashion, ornaments and ornaments in the Asir region in response to rapid changes in society during the study period The most important recommendations are : - Completion of the infrastructure of the region in light of the efforts of the State
- Expansion of the network of roads, bridges and tunnels to connect the region to each other and the rest of the Kingdom
- Expand the establishment of airports in the region to facilitate the transport of passengers and goods and linking the region at the national and international levels- - Develop development in the Asir region by all modern civilized standards in: education, health, communications, communications, agriculture, trade, industry and public services
- Apply the health insurance system and take the experience of other countries applied to health insurance
- Increase interest in social projects by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Asir region and develop and support and open branches in the provinces- - Expand the building of population growth centers and study the target areas for growth and population groups and provide them with all services
- Increase the capital of the Real Estate Development Fund to spread urbanization and prosperity in the region
- Expanding the construction of residential and commercial buildings such as furnished apartments, hotels, residential and tourist complexes, chalets, restaurants, large markets, wedding halls and restrooms |
